Held in the lush tropical garden of The Royal Hawaiian, affectionately known as the “Pink Palace,” this intimate experience offers a relaxing and culturally rich activity in a small group setting.

Learn about the Hawaiian Culture, Ocean, Native Preservation as well as The History of The Royal Hawaiian from our Local Tutu's as they share stories and experiences from the past. Reservations Required.

INTRODUCTORY STAND UP PADDLE LESSON - ON LAND

Learn the basic fundamentals of Stand Up Paddle Boarding with this 15 minute land demonstration lesson. Offered daily at the Royal Hawaiian Beach and Pool desk.

Offered five days a week in the Helumoa Pool at 8:30am, swimming attire is recommended. Please bring water to stay hydrated; reservations required.

SUNRISE CEREMONY (HIʻUWAI)

Begin your day with Hawaiian chants and hula at sunrise on the beach, followed by the traditional ritual of Hiʻuwai—a symbolic “ocean purification” in which guests cast flowers and leaves into the sea. Please note that schedules are subject to change; a welcome guide with the latest information will be provided upon check-in.

NIDRA MEDITATION

Done lying down, guests will be guided by a teacher into a state of deep relaxation. Yoga Nidra means “yogic sleep” and it is an effective meditation to relieve stress and meet the challenges of everyday living.

This guided session is suitable for all levels, including beginners.
